MEMORY AND ENTROPY

Source photographs processed through pixel sorting algorithms that reorganize image data by luminosity. Darker values sink, lighter values rise. The original subject dissolves into vertical streaks that recall melting paint or corrupted film. Each output is run through a secondary color transformation that shifts the palette into synthetic tones. The process is partly controlled, partly random. What remains is not the image but its thermal ghost.
